Creating New Products
Creating new products within your CRM is a simple task. Start by visiting the Payments tab in your CRM, and click on the Products section on the top. You will see a blue button that says Create Product on the top right of the page. Click that button to add a new product. When you click the button, you will be redirected to a new page where you can input your product details.
Always use our platform as the system of record for products and prices.
Make any updates only here and we will sync with Stripe/Paypal automatically.
Don’t make any changes on Stripe/Paypal for the products and prices created from our system. The “Created by” entry on the metadata section will have “LeadConnector” if the product or the price is created by our platform
If you directly update the product or price on Stripe/Paypal, we will create a new pI
Product Information
Product Name and Description
Begin by typing the name of your product in the Product Name field. If you would like to fill in a long-form explanation of the product, enter it in the Product Description field.
Product Image
You can add an image to your product by uploading one here. Supported image files are PNG and JPG, of up to 2MB.
Product Type
Choose a product type from the dropdown based on your product:
Physical Goods
Digital Goods
Service
Additional Product Options
You can add any additional information related to your product in this box.
Statement Description
Here you can add a description that will show up on your customer's credit card statement(s).
Pricing
It defines the pricing type and amount to charge.
Pricing Information
Next, you will need to add pricing information such as name, price, currency, and whether it's a one-time or a recurring product.
Billing Periods
If you have selected a recurring payment model, you will need to select when your customer should be billed for this product. You can choose; Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or even a custom period.
Additional Payment Options
There are some additional payment options you can edit here.
Price Name
You can type in the price name here.
Trial Period
If you want to add a free trial period for your new products, you can add it here.
Number of Payments
If you want to add a specific number of payments for a particular product, you can add that here.
Setup Fees
You can add a setup fee to any product here. This setup fee will be a one-time transaction on top of the subscription payments.
Membership Offer
If you'd like to connect a new product to a membership offer from inside your CRM membership portal, you can toggle this switch.
Select Membership Offer
Use this drop-down tab to select the membership offer you'd like to connect to a product.
Create New Product
When you are ready to create your new product, click this button. Your new product will appear in the list of products in the payments section.
